Windy Knoll Farm wedding of Laura and Justin

Nestled in the picturesque countryside, Laura and Justin’s Windy Knoll Farm wedding had the perfect backdrop for a wedding. This beautiful day was not just a celebration of love but also a showcase of rustic chic elegance, navy and blush tones, and heartfelt moments.

Preparation and Anticipation

The day began with Laura and Justin preparing for their big moment in separate locations. Laura, surrounded by her close family members including her sister Julie (Maid of Honor), brother-in-law Andre (Bridesman), and adorable niece and nephew Megan and Tucker (flower girl and ring bearer), got ready at their home. Justin, accompanied by his brothers Jamie and Evan (groomsmen) and his best friend from the West, Quintin (Bestman), prepared at his brother Jamie’s house. The excitement and anticipation were palpable as they got ready to head to Windy Knoll Farm.

The Ceremony: A Picture of Pastoral Perfection

The ceremony at Windy Knoll Farm was a beautiful affair, set against the farm’s natural beauty. The open skies and gentle breezes complemented the event’s rustic theme. Laura, stunning in her elegantly simple dress, walked down the aisle, her face radiant with happiness. Justin, looking dapper in his suit, awaited her with a look of awe and affection.

One of the most touching moments captured was when Laura and Justin exchanged their vows. The emotional intensity of this moment was evident in their expressions — a blend of joy, love, and a promise of a lifetime together.

Reception: Rustic Elegance and Heartwarming Moments

The reception, also held at Windy Knoll Farm, was a seamless continuation of the rustic chic theme. Wooden fox place cards, painted by the couple, adorned the tables, adding a personal and whimsical touch. The unique quilt squares for the guestbook, made by Laura, were not just an innovative idea but also a beautiful keepsake for the couple.

The first dance was a magical moment, with Laura and Justin swaying to “I Found You” by Kina Grannis & Imaginary Future. The love and connection between them were palpable, creating a truly enchanting scene.

The Vendors: Bringing the Vision to Life

The success of this beautiful day can be attributed to the excellent work of the vendors. Robin Quantick, the venue contact at Windy Knoll Farm, ensured that every detail at the venue was perfect. Heather MacArthur, the wedding planner, coordinated the day flawlessly, making sure everything ran smoothly.

Justin and Laura’s Windy Knoll Farm wedding featured wedding planning and day-of coordination by Bow Tie Services. Bride’s bouquet and flowers by Napanee Blooms. The food and some decor rentals was by Bustini’s Catering. Barn decor was by Wedding cake was by MT’s Wedding Design. Cakes and Takes.

Laura and Justin’s wedding at Windy Knoll Farm was a celebration filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments. It was a perfect testament to their love story and a beautiful beginning to their journey as husband and wife. Congratulations to the happy couple, and here’s to a lifetime of happiness together!

This was my first time at Windy Knoll Farm, but here’s another ‘barn-y’ wedding.
